Opening Act Youth Company
The Opening Act Youth Company brings together high school students from across New York City to create bold, original theater about the social justice issues that matter most to them.​ These students collaborate with professional theater artists to devise and perform an original play, building creative, leadership, and teamwork skills along the way. The program culminates in a public performance at a professional NYC theater — giving young people the chance to see their stories come to life on stage.
Through the Youth Company, students will:
